Painting Outside the Box

Explore new painting techniques centered around using acrylics on tissue paper. These tissue papers will be utilized for a final piece. It may be collaging or to augment a watercolor piece you’ll do as the final step. This is all about freedom of expression and using a medium that is extremely versatile.

Supply List

Minimal supplies are necessary. Brushes, paints (preferably acrylics and if you don’t have any, don’t worry). Anything you might want to collage with (although that won’t be the emphasis). A number of inexpensive items will be provided. Tissue paper, a backing surface, a large piece of watercolor paper as well as acrylics, pens and collage pieces will be available. Certainly bring extra pens, and any other supplies you like to use in a 2-dimensional piece.
